I have been following your musings since I was in secondary school and it has been rewarding.
I just want to make a little correction. The picture of Yar' Adua that you used could not have been taken in November 2010 because Jonathan was sworn in May 2010 after the death of Yar' Adua.
"His appearance at the famed Chatham House in London was a low point"
"Low point"? Okey, you're being kind to Tnubu. His performance ( or is the correct term is non performance?) was a disaster! A big political disaster that should have sunk his bid for the presidency. But he's from Nigeria after all,. And so he went on to become president.
It's not lowlife corrupt scum bags like Tinubu we should be worried about. It's the people, the voters who are hell bent on voting thieves like him into office. I had an argument with members of my WhatsApp group. I told them that Nigeria voters are stupid, that the typical Nigeria voter is a confused, hopeless fellow with childlike fantasies of a better Nigeria, that the only people who understand Nigeria are the politicians, people like Tinubu who rightly understand that Nigeria is an all you can eat buffet, not a place yearning for some lofty ideas like selflessness, patriotism, hard work. I told them that Nigeria voters have never for once, in the 25 years that they've been voting, ever made a wise choice. Prof just look at the list of presidents since 1999 and then tell me if any was a wise choice: Obasanjo, Yar'Adua, Jonathan, Buhari, and now Tinubu. It's almost as if voters have been programmed to make bad choices on election day
Another blockbuster from Prof.

The spelling also "Aduja" could be corrected.
