And again Mr Okey look closely and you'll see that countrywide support for Obi is not something new. Like I told the people in my WhatsApp group, this is one movie that plays out every four years albeit with slightly different actors. Recall that Good luck Jonathan came into office with a wave of goodwill by the masses. Remember the, "I had no shoes", "breath of fresh air" nonsense that Jonathan and his handlers used to hoodwink the masses? The current Illiterate in Aso Rock also came in with massive support from the electorates. Remember too his, "Sai Baba" and "change!". Deceitful catchphrases that Nigerians fell for.

Now the same movie is playing out again and this time it another deceitful catchphrase, "OBI-dient" that is being used.

I also told my WhatsApp group that because this is a movie I've seen over and over, I told them how the current one will play out should Obi win the presidency. The movie is divided into six stages:

1. He wins the election, and he comes into office with a lot of support and goodwill.

2. Almost immediately upon assuming office, he begins to fumble. But it's a new administration, and his handlers and supporters ask for patience and understanding from the electorates. Anyone who begins to point out his mistakes or expresses doubts about his administration is insulted and demonized.

3. His incompetence continues to grow, some of his supporters are becoming disillusioned and begin to question policies that are at variance with what he promised them during the campaign. But his handlers keep coming in defense of the president.

4. As a result of his incompetence things begin to crumble and get even worse, many of the new president's former supporters no longer believe he was the person for the job and begin to regret voting for him. He's handlers continue to defend the indefensible.

5. Things have gotten so bad, the Nigerian masses go searching for a new "messiah". At this point the president's handlers are running out of excuses for their boss.

6. As the next presidential elections draws near, the ignorant Nigerian electorate finally finds another candidate to project their hopes and support on. And then this movie all starts again at stage 1.

Okey, we're now at stage 6 of that movie. Just as with Good luck Jonathan, and Buhari, people see what they want to see, and ignore what they want to ignore when it comes to Obi. It's what psychologists call mass formation psychosis. Only, this one is of the political type.

Okey, you're right about Obi being the most popular presidential candidate, but like others, either you seem not to see the elephant in the room or you're ignoring it. If by some miracle Obi wins the election he'd be coming into office with an army, navy, and airforce dominated by one tribe, ministries and government agencies dominated by a section of the country. The main issue with Nigeria is not the epileptic power supply, or bad roads or even corruption. These are just symptoms of a larger disease.

Obi has yet to give his thoughts on the disproportionately large population of the Hausa-Fulani in the armed forces. There's a reason the north dominate the armed forces, and even if the Holy Spirit descended on Buhari and he is moved to handover to an Igbo man, Obi would just be another puppet for the hausa fulani. As long as the Nigerian armed forces is dominated by the north, it doesn't matter how qualified or competent an occupant of Aso Rock is for the job, they'll fail

Okey, just as you didn’t see it coming. Watch out for his inaugural address. His time has come and nothing can stop it rather they will quicken it. I have never been motivated like this ever; absolutely nothing to do with his tribe but his grasp of issues and clear cut solutions, one would ask, what are you waiting for?
